How Air Caster platforms work
Like air bearing movers, Our air pallets and transporters are equipped with air bearings that support and move heavy loads on a thin film of air. This air film eliminates friction, allowing loads to be moved with only 1/10 the amount of force that would be required on wheels.
Air bearing transporter with support fixturing that is custom designed to meet load size. The top deck of the Air Caster platform can be configured to provide a complete load handling system.
Air Caster platforms are welded structural steel and available in standard sizes as well as custom sizes and configurations. Load capacities range from 4,000 pounds to well over 100,000 pounds.

Steerable Drive Tractors
Steerable drive tractors are designed to give powered movement to Air Caster platforms and air pallets. Units are air-motor powered.

Features of drive tractors
Safety: Spring return to center “Off” position provides braking action.
Single operator: One person safely and effortlessly moves heavy load.
Maximum maneuverability: Drive tractors provide full 180° steering, allowing Air Caster platforms to be rotated around their centers.
Easy operation: Hand-grip twists for forward/reverse control. Speed increases as grip is twisted.
Snap-on attachment: Allows a single-drive tractor to be used with a number of Air Caster platforms.
